Bob Queen Jibby
So I just finished watching Black Swan. Overall, I was super into the vibe of this movie, but I was scared for most of it. TBH, I have been wanting to watch this film, but what got me to specifically watch it immediately was having FOMO from these Hunger Games edits. Since I didn’t understand those and wanted to watch a movie anyway, I finally checked it out, and to be honest now that I have seen the movie I am still unsure on the meaning of these memes. I attached a couple below. I have some ideas, but if you have seen it and know let me know.
I didn’t realize Natalie Portman got an Oscar for this movie. She definitely deserved it. And also people just kept showing up! Winona Ryder??? Mila Kunis?? Regina’s mom (Cora) from the ABC show Once Upon a Time? SEBASTIAN STAN?? I was just surprised by the film, but it had a very strong take on perfectionism. I will say if you are an anxious person like myself this may not be your movie. And it’s probably too scary for me to ever comfort rewatch.
